Why we like Catonsville

The Baltimore Sun has a police blotter column. They list stuff by Baltimore City neighborhoods, and then by Baltimore County towns/villages. You know the sort of thing: Essex, theft in the xxx block of Something Road; Towson, assault in ... Well, in the 4 months I've been reading the column, Catonsville had not appeared. Last week, it finally did appear in the column. A woman's bull gored her. The bull was not arrested. That's Catonsville's contribution to the crime rate.

Yep Kasucon Feb 18-21 i think... but I might be in the area longer depending on airline prices and how long we want to hang out with our friend that we are going with.

Southwest flies right into BWI and has way lower rates than anyone else flying into there, and BWI is by far the least horrible of any of the airports in the greater DC area.

Right now I am getting $174 (taxes and fees included) for one person to BWI. So its about $344 for two of us? I think southwest has something like $69 per person one way without the taxes included. Which is $340. When do you think is the best time to buy tickest. I am not sure... a week or two ago it was about $160 more than it is right now.

Ticket prices change every week. My guess would be that the best time to buy them would be one month ahead of your trip - make it 5 weeks. Some airlines have 30-day-in advance rates, some have 3-week-in-advance rates...

Hey...this totally has nothing to do with anything...but I was doing a google search and this page came up.

THE MUSIC! YAYAYAY~! Gene Dowling is one of my prof's (and my advisor) at Uni...I love how people have actually heard of him. He's a great player! I was going to play in his Tuba Christmas tomorrow, but can't because of too much stress. Still going to go see it though!

Anyways...just wanted to say - good choice of music!

Spouse plays tuba; I play tenor and bari sax. We have a serious collection of brass music in general and tuba music in particular. Spouse played TubaChristmas in Chicago one year, sitting near Gene Pokorny, and conducted by Frederick Fenell (and I got to help Dr. Fennell with his luggage at the hotel!!)
