bunrabI'm packing for this coming weekend's trip to the Philadelphia area. My sister says I might want to pack cool clothes for the hot weather. I want to tell her that their temperature at high noon on Tuesday is Austin's temperature at high midnight! It is going to be very warm for there, but still 5-10 degrees cooler than a completely normal day for us.
List: books for older niece's July birthday present. Book and stuffed toy for youngest niece's July birthday present. CDs for Dad's birthday present. Knitting yarn for older niece's stash - she's the one I taught to knit at Christmas. I may be sorta broke, but they're broke-er, so I can bring her yarn she's not likely to buy. My own current knitting project, a scarf for a friend's July birthday. (Does it sound like July is crowded? Fall gets even crowdededededer.) Find small bottles to hold shampoo, etc. Register some more books at BookCrossing so that I can leave them around the Phil. area and really see some travel on them.
Plus of course clothes, hairbrush, all that stuff. Whee. I hate packing.
