Singulair helps, but there's still this lingering bit of slight nose drip and sore throat and itchy eyes.

This afternoon there was a luncheon for the Natural Sciences faculty; I used the occasion to tell people that this is my last semester at St. Ed's. Nicely enough, there were people who were genuinely disappointed to hear that. Even though I'm only an adjunct, I've pulled my weight and then some for the past 6 years, and they know it.

There was also an afghan group meeting, and we got the current blocks basted together; next week we'll actually crochet them together, but the basting gets all the placement done and means no one has to keep track of where each piece is any more.

And we had a wildlife control guy over to the house to check the evidence of raccoons, as our exterminator had recommended. He says that while there's signs that raccoons and possums have regularly passed through our pier and beam foundation, there's no signs that any have set up permanent housekeeping. So we need to do a little duct repair work, cap off some old plumbing pipes that are just sitting there, and fix some seepage type leaks, to make everything less attractive, and that should mean that any wildlife will continue to just pass through instead of settling in. That was good to hear. We have enough trouble with the animals we WANT living with us!

And I got some more cages cleaned. And two more boxes packed. And I am tired. And there's no new CSI or Without a Trace tonight, so I suppose I can just take a nap right now, before I go to bed :-)
