whew, I was near withdrawal symptoms

bunrabbut a nice long nap and now LJs back up, and tomorrow's a holiday so school doesn't start till Tuesday.
I have all my syllabi updated, print copies printed, files uploaded to Blackboard.
LIZ!!! call me! I made you a hat and I bought you a vegetarian cookbook and it's nearly a month past xmas, dammit, so call me!
We got 6 boxes of stuff put in our storage unit so far, and I've packed another 4 boxes of stuff. We'll bring another 6 over tomorrow, I guess. And this afternoon I dabbed some paint stripper on a couple of the kitchen cabinets, so tomorrow I'll peel it off, and if it worked adequately, I'll get most of the kitchen stripped this coming week. Depending on the wood underneath, I don't know whether I'll stain them or paint them. If paint, I'll just go with cream colored enamel, I guess. I got new hardware from Rejuvenation that is really handsome, and I think that repainting and the hardware will do for the kitchen, as far as fix-up, because no matter what we would do to the floor and stuff, new owners always want to redo kitchens first thing. So we might as well not bother with a major fix up, just include a kitchen fixup allowance in the sales agreement. Well, maybe I'll buy a new stove hood, too - that wouldn't cost too much, and would be impressive out of proportion to its cost. But as far as the floor and countertops, we'll just clear them off and clean them within an inch of their little lives, and that's it. I'm not gonna replace flooring just for someone else to instantly tear it up!!
Bunny litter box cleaning has also been accomplished; tomorrow is guinea pig cage cleaning as well. Obstreporous rabbits!!
