I have just purchased one of these:
http://www.yanagisawasax.co.jp/en/baritone/901/
I keep wanting to call the brand name Yamaguchi, for some reason.
HONK!
In other news: we will be in Austin to pick up our Girl Scout cookies the week of Feb. 23-March 1. And all y'all whom we haven't seen yet, we'll try and get together with you this trip, OK?
Oh, and in other spending-related news, did I mention that last week,
squirrel_magnet and I each got one of these:
Verizon enV
(We paid less for them. As usual, the devil is in the contract - what we'll pay out the nose monthly.) Anyway, on Saturday I made these for mine:

Date: 2008-02-19 03:55 am (UTC)We have a yanigasawa baritone sax in our inventory, and a Conn. I've been told the former is the best. Bari saxes are just great fun anyway.
Your craftyness is lovely.
Glad to see positive things.

Date: 2008-02-21 06:56 am (UTC)We've got several lovely tubas too. :)
In fact, the yanigasawa was just rented by a gentleman who's eyes lit up when I told him we had one for rent - if he was interested. I feel quite certain it went to a good home. :)
