bunrabI have a crafts fair coming up on Nov. 18, so I have been adding hats to inventory. I decided to try some dirt-simple Fair Isle type patterns this year, with chunky yarn so they knit up fast. Mostly it's been ordinary geometric Fair Isle patterns
but then I got struck by a burst of inspiration, and here's what I got done this evening :
No, it's not done yet - it's still on the circular needle. Hey, getting this far took less than 2 hours including thinking up and charting the pattern - yes, it's my own design, although I suspect that it has been done many times before and I could have found it out there on the Web - but I didn't, I charted it myself.
For you knitters, here's a close-up of it, if you want to count the stitches so you can copy it - ha!
