Turquoise/black/white granny square afghan

Just butting in here ...I was admiring your icon in your reply to Momily's post about her birthday - it looks like a granny square afghan and is very pretty. Is there by any chance a pattern to this?

Not really a pattern - just generic granny squares, made out of lots of leftover bits plus a couple skeins of black. I've been crocheting granny squares sorta mindlessly for years now; I can do it in the dark; so I don't even think about patterns any more. I just make granny squares till I have enough to be something blanket sized, and then sew 'em together and then crochet around the outside edge with a couple of the colors and then with black to end.
