What did you do last night? Went down to Alexandria VA to hear the Virginia Grand Military Band play a concert; came back via Laurel so we could stop at the Silver Diner and have one of their excellentamento chicken pot pies for supper.
The last thing you downloaded onto your computer? CuteHTML so that I have an adequate HTML editor until I manage to find/unpack my Dreamweaver software again, because I am tired of using Notepad as a text editor; I am getting lazy in my old age.
Have you ever licked a 9 volt battery? I've never licked a battery of any voltage.
Last time you swam in a pool? Own pool in backyard, middle of August.
What are you wearing? jeans, Madras plaid sport shirt, underwear, watch, glasses, medical alert tag..
How many cars have you owned? Define owned. My history with cars and motorcycles is more tangled than average. Especially if you count the Porsche 911 that I had temporary ownership of for a few months when a friend had to hide some assets while he was subject to a ridiculous lawsuit, back in the 70's... and do

Type of music you dislike most? Rap, if we even bother to define music widely enough to include that.

Do you have cable? Well,

What kind of computer do you use? Currently an inexpensive Dell desktop.
Ever made a prank phone call? No.
You like anyone right now? I like lots of people. Especially

Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? I cannot imagine any circumstances under which I would even think about it. Not even a lobotomy.
Furthest place you ever traveled? Berlin.
What's your favorite comic strip? I like lots of them. Um. User-Friendly? Get Fuzzy? Yeah, let's say Get Fuzzy.
Do you know all the words to the national anthem? No, only the first verse and fragments of the last verse. But I do know the tenor sax and bari sax parts to the two most widely used band arrangements.
Shower, morning or night? Used to always be night, until I got married; since then it's been mostly morning.
Best movie you've seen in the past month? Um, last movie I saw was, um, Madagascar? 2 years ago? Even on DVD, what I've seen has been old TV shows, not movies.
Favorite pizza toppings? Mushrooms, eggplant, roasted garlic (and sausage, but I'm not allowed to have that).
Have you ever smoked peanut shells? Huh?
Have you ever been in a beauty pageant? Good grief, no.
Orange Juice or apple? Cranberry.
Who were the last people you sat at lunch with?

Favorite chocolate bar? Anything dark chocolate. Preferably with nuts and fruit in it.
Who is your longest friend and how long? I met my friend S in second grade, when we shared a stand playing violin in our elementary school orchestra. That was, um, 1961? I was up visiting her - for purposes of playing musical instruments - a couple weeks ago.
Last time you ate a homegrown tomato? July - our diagonally-in-back neighbors gave us several.
Have you ever won a trophy? Trophy? No. Medal? Got the reading medal almost every year in grade school; got the best German (as in, language classes) medal in 8th grade; best Science student Medal in 7th or 8th, I forget which; and a couple of music medals in high school from the NYSSMA contests.
Favorite arcade game? Does Tetris count?
Ever ordered from an infomercial? No.
Sprite or 7-UP? Either, but usually 7-Up. And Diet Cherry 7-Up, at that.
Have you ever had to wear a uniform to school/work? Worked for Mickey D's for 2 months my freshman year in college.
Last thing you bought at Walgreens? Acetaminophen (generic Tylenol).
Ever thrown up in public? No. I've only ever thrown up maybe 4 or 5 times in my life.
Would you prefer being a millionaire or finding true love? I have true love. Can I have the million, too, if I'm being offered something new?
SPONGEBOB OR JIMMY NEUTRON? Who? (No, I've heard of Spongebob but I don't get it, and I've never heard of 'tother.)
Did you have long hair as a young kid? Sometimes.
What message is on your voicemail machine? Pretty standard "we can't come to the phone right now" message.
Where would you like to go right now? Munich, for Oktoberfest.
Whats the name of your pet? Rabbits: Gizmo, Fern, Farfalle, Domino. Guinea pigs: Persephone, Boots. Chinchillas: Chippy, Darwin, Lamarck. Cats: Pickle Underfoot, Dexter.
What kind of back pack do you have, and what's in it? I have tote bags, messenger bags, knitting bags. Empty backpack somewhere, it's a St. Ed's backpack (where I used to teach, and where I got my MBA). Tote bags, messenger bags, and knitting bags have books, yarn, mail, books, yarn, mail, books, yarn, mail.
