Magazine day at the zoo!
Sep. 2nd, 2004 05:35 pmScience, Consumer Reports, In These Times, Mensa Bulletin, Asimov's SF!! Plus catalogs, and a couple of newsletters - Texas State Board of Public Accountancy Report, for example - doesn't that sound exciting? Actually, it is interesting, because it always includes a list of "enforcement actions" - CPAs whose licenses were suspended or taken away, and it describes the infractions, which range from failure to do their license paperwork properly, to SEC violations, to felony convictions for child pornography or murder. And you thought CPAs were dull! (This particular quarter includes a crime of moral turpitude, and a conviction regarding the manufacture of methamphetamines.)
Spousal Unit has a rehearsal in Wimberly this evening, so I shall sit here alone, reading and then hosting Small Mammal Chat on AOL at 8:00 my time. We won't get around to supper until around 10 p.m.
