Quick post for elfbiter: the books unpacked so far

The dining room books - the paperbacks are all double-decked, that is, there's another row behind the row you see for every shelf that has paperbacks.

The living room books (cardboard box leaning against the shelves; trust me, there's still books behind the box.)

A few books in the hallway:

One of the bedroom bookshelves; the other 2 have so much junk piled in front of the books, you can't even see the books (clothing, knick-knacks, stuffed animals, yarn, more yarn, small boxes of stuff, toys, etc.)

And a few books in the kitchen:

I wish I had that much space for my books; I have one bookshelf like the half of the one in the second photograph and one specially intalled upper shelf. Then I have books in my wardrobe and cardboad boxes all over the place...

I think our 15 to 20 years more of acquiring houses and books probably gives us the advantage - you can look forward to this when you are fifty-mumble years old!
