AFK for a few days

I'm off to PA this evening, to attend a knitting convention somewhat north of Philadelphia. I will be there through Sunday afternoon. I doubt I'll be spending any time on the computer - I'm not bringing mine with me, and my sister's place doesn't have broadband for their home computer.

I will report back sometime Sunday night. That is all.

OOoohhhh... I knitting convention. I'm so jealous. Of course, I'd be more jealous if it were a crochet convention!

It was - both TKGA (The Knitting Guild of America) and CGOA (Crochet Guild of America) were co-sponsoring the show. I took classes in both. I just referred to it as a knitting convention for short. I learned to use a double-ended crochet hook, among other things.

Sorry I didn't see your comment before I left. And actually, although I was staying at my sister's place in lower Bucks County (a few minutes from the NE Phila Airport), the convention was at the Valley Forge Convention Center in King of Prussia, and that's where I was all day every day. Next time!

Oh, and Stitches is in Baltimore in November - if you want to come visit here... and read a few books...
