I'm home

I'm here. I'm not all here, of course, but here I am.
Portable infusion pump for IV (slightly more portable than old portable computers, smaller than, but heavier than, a laptop.)
PICC in right arm, blood clot in left arm plus of course arm and shoulder sore from surgery. So I'm not typing for long. But I wanted thank you all for your wishes and messages. They were a very cheering note in a week that was difficult.
I only got cranky enough to really scare the nurses once.
And I felt much better as soon as I could hold a pencil again and start making lists of what we had to do day by day when I got home. Amazing how much more in control of one's life one feels if one can make lists.
Now some more rest; I hope I'll be able to catch up on you all within a couple of days!

Welcome back to the land of the listing

Hopefully that doesn;t mean you listing side to side but rather compiling those wonderful lengths of paper filled with things to be done. I'm hoping you have doers to do them for you as well. It is nice to regain that sense of control, no matter how small, over your life after you've been hospitalize.

Now the hard part starts..letting others do for you...you are so generous to others I'll wager you will be back on your feet doing things in no time !

Glad that you are out of the hospital. I have read that hospitals make one sicker/dead.

Hold a pig! More beneficial for the heart than petting a dog!
