"the year in review" meme
Dec. 9th, 2005 12:50 amOne more thing, and then to bed: a meme gacked from the always entertaining
angevin2:
January:
One of our guinea pigs, Bob the Blob, has been alone since his cage-mate Milo passed away.
February:
Woot! I saw a notice in the paper last Thurs about a session at the Austin History Center about researching one's old house and how to apply for city, county, state, and national landmark status.
March:
Too many scraps of paper on this desk; time to note some of this stuff and throw the paper out.
April:
I decided that since not that many people have read my blogspot blog lately, I'd copy some of the stuff over here.
May:
Yes, that's right - the house is on the market!
June:
We had lunch at Spousal Unit's office, where SU has been entered in the "most retirement luncheons for a single person" top-10 list.
July:
The new mattress got delivered this morning. Woo!
August:
OK, so the people with the duplex in Pikesville accepted another offer, notified us yesterday that we didn't get it.
September:
You must buy this book. I don't say that often, but I'm saying it now.
Okay. New Orleans. Last night, we were listening to a radio interview the mayor of New Orleans was giving.
October:
Whee! We closed on the houses today - Austin is safely sold, someone else's elephant now.
November:
Let's see. Halloween - nonexistent; we had a Bel Air band rehearsal that night, and have no idea whether there were any trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood.
December:
We went to a concert Tuesday evening, a Holiday Brass Concert which was a fund raiser for the International Women's Brass Conference.
Huh. I thought I got more done than that this year. It seemed more interesting at the time. And more exhausting.
