still no internet access at home

Comcast cable came to hook up the TV and internet. Didn't bring their own test equipment - apparently they depend on the customer's TV and computers to check whether stuff is working, and have no way to test it directly. Well, the customer's computers and TV are PACKED - wrapped in bubble wrap, etc. So the guy says "well, it should be working" but when we finally got the computers hooked up, it wasn't. (Cable TV isn't either.) So we call the company, and tell them - and the soonest they can get someone back over is next Tuesday. Color me not happy. And you'll have to wait till then for pictures of the house, etc. Right now I'm using the laptop in Panera Bread, but we can't eat here every day between now and Tuesday just to get on line, I don't think.

BTW, we have a land line phone now. Anyone who knows my cell phone number, call me and I'll give you the new number.
