Date: 2015-03-05 05:04 am (UTC)I like this series a little better than the other one, which is slightly more conventional urban fantasy with fairies. (October Daye series, which I actually just finished reading the most recent book of yesterday).
Also check out Mira Grant, which is Seanan's pseudonym for horror genre. (I really don't care for horror genre, and especially zombies, but I particularly recommend the Newsflesh trilogy. Really neat worldbuilding there.)
