End of the year stuff #3: tags and HNY

Tags: I've added many, and have been going back to the beginning of the year and putting additional tags on each entry - I'm about half through. So if you want to specifically look for my reviews of murder mysteries, there's a "mystery fiction" tag now, and tags for photos of pets, photos of people, science fiction, amazon reviews... not that anybody asked for those, but there they are. Helps organize the year for me, if no one else.

And a happy New Year to all of you - have a safe New Year's Eve, and a happy, peaceful, and healthy New Year.

We have named the new hedgie!

Our new hedgehog is Vladimir Herschel Hedgehog. Pictures coming soon. He's 7 weeks old, as cute as any hedgie, still a tad shy, but not at all afraid of Dexter. It's pretty funny watching Dexter try to figure out what to make of him!

The usual Russian nickname for Vladimir is, IIRC, Valadya (alt. sp. Volodya) but we'll probably call him Vlad or Dim (which, one hates to admit, applies to hedgies in general).
