Finished objects
Jun. 24th, 2006 01:13 amI have been crocheting in the car a lot lately.
This one's a graduation present for a niece who graduated from college a year ago May. It's only about 40" by 50", since I was using an N hook rather than a P and had only one large skein of green worsted (Caron One Pound) for the "background yarn." I had a heck of a time getting the color to come out right on the camera! I've got teeny pictures; click on each image to see a larger picture:

And then I started, and finished, a slightly larger one, in blue, for her sister who got married a year ago this weekend; I was gonna make them a quilt, but Cthulhu only knows when I'll get my sewing machine and fabric all unpacked and set up, and I wanted to finish something by their first anniversary, so I made this. ( details and pictures )
Anita, I can't knit in the car; I'm working on your poncho at home! These other things are finished mainly because we've been driving around so much!
