Friday night leftovers.
Nov. 27th, 2004 12:20 amWe actually didn't have leftovers. One of my nephews is 20 years old and on his college track team. He eats everything. So we sent out for pizza this evening! It's been a fun visit to Omaha, but I will be glad to get back home again - we're leaving tomorrow at lunchtime, should be able to make it to Wichita before getting too tired to drive, and then it's an easy drive the rest of the way to Austin on Sunday.
We went yarn shopping today, he he he. Wheeee! Another two nieces taught how to knit! I will leave a trail of needleworkers behind me or die trying! We attempted to talk my nephew, my oldest niece's boyfriend, and a visiting priest into knitting, as well, but did not succeed. The priest was far more interested in watching "Terminal" which after yesterday's "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" seems to set a theme... I did not know that what priests like to do in their spare time is sit on people's living room floors eating cold pizza and watching videos and discussing college sports. Apparently, however, this was his idea of a good time. Well, he is a Jesuit, perhaps that makes a difference.
