Slow news day

Of course there's more catalogs than I care to count.
And I got the laminator I bought off eBay. Woohoo! (And have I mentioned how useful bungee nets are lately?)

stylizedboredom was over for sewing and supper yesterday. We got some quilt binding accomplished, some spaghetti with mushrooms and sauteed spinach eaten, and some arguing about the philosophy of science at the top of our lungs done. All in all, an entertaining evening. Arguing about science vs. "philosophy of science" is one of my favorite sports, and she's so much fun to do that with, although it's a good thing that we live on a corner lot, because otherwise her shrieks when we get to the top-of-the-lungs parts would disturb the neighbors :-) I'm from New York, shrieking during philosophical discussions is pretty much my idea of normal dining table talk.
