Bookmarked to Die by Jo Dereske - murder mystery, mildly humorous but I don't like the main character, so I won't bother with the rest of the series unless I run out of other things to read (ha!) The main character is a stereotypical librarian, and her interactions with her boss are so unrealistic as to be beyond my ability to suspend disbelief; even though I see that it was done for the humor, I can't get past the fact that I *know* that there would be more discrimination lawsuits than you can shake a stick at, three seconds after a boss acted like that.
Born in Death - latest in J.D. Robb's "in Death" series; that pretty much says it all.
Dead and Loving It - collection of 4 novellas, one of which fills in a blank I needed to fill in before reading the next book in MaryJanice Davidson's "Betsy the Vampire Queen" series.

And, since 'tis the season, I'm re-reading The Stupidest Angel. I keep getting little cases of the giggles. Roberto the fruit bat is still one of my absolute favorite characters.
