Another book

bunrabSomewhere along the line, I seem to have forgotten to mention that I read Sweet and Low by Rich Cohen, a memoir about the family that invented Sweet'n'Low in packets. Well, sort of. Also a memoir about America, the history of the Jews in America, the Mafia, Brooklyn, and a few other topics. Very funny, although if you aren't familiar with New York and aren't in any way Jewish, it might seem rather scattered.
Also read Prove the Nameless by Terence Flaherty - one of those names that was an extension of a recommendation of a related recommendation, you know the kind, anyway there it was at the library. Eh, an OK mystery but a bit too full of existential whatnot and angst and people searching for themselves, for my tastes. Some funny moments about what it's like to be a copy editor for a newspaper.
