Dammit, summer is supposed to start LATER than March 12

Yesterday it hit 85 degrees, for pete's sake!!
We were FORCED to stop at Amy's for ice cream for relief!!

Those people warning me that "Baltimore gets hot in the summer, too!" - yes, but summer doesn't start in March!
Right now it's 84 degrees - weather.com has its frequent absurdity of today's high supposed to be 83, current temp 84. Note that it's only 11:30 AM; the high temp of the day here is usually somewhere between 3 and 4:30 PM, so it's going to go up several more degrees yet. Wonder if we'll hit 90 - in MARCH???

I am so eager to move.

...wait, it's summer when it hits 85? I thought that was spring, and summer was when it started regularly hitting 90...

In New York and Boston, I can remember many years when 84 was the summer's high temperature. People went out and paid outrageous prices for a window air conditioner for their bedrooms if it hit 84.

And while Baltimore can get hotter than that, Weatherbase says that 85 is the average high temp for August in Baltimore over the last 45 years.

You are doing a good job of reminding me why I didn't like living on the Gulf Coast.

Moving Day

Sure, it gets TOO HOT in Austin for at least 1/2 of the year, but, damn it, couldn't you live here during the winter? After all, in Texas, winter is really just free air conditioning. I will miss seeing you in person, bunrab
By the way this is anonymous because that is the only way that "the system" would post my comment. I am cavia_porcellus.
